The Accord is available as a two-door coupe or four-door sedan powered by a 2.4-liter four-cylinder or 3.5-liter V6 engine rated at 271 horsepower. These four-cylinder engines are mated to a five-speed manual or automatic transmission for both styles and the V6 sedan is available only in five-speed automatic transmission. The V6 equipped coupe comes with six-speed manual transmission. The safety features have been enhanced on all Accords with six standard airbags, including side-impact air bags for front seats and side curtain air bags. The standard equipment list includes four-wheel disc, anti-lock brakes, Vehicle Stability Assist with traction control, Brake Assist and active front head restraints.
